The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is a Tanzanian Premium Health and Allied Sciences University established in 2007 through Article 1 of the Charter of Incorporation in line with the Universities Act No 7 of 2005. Since its beginning, MUHAS has managed to have
a range of programmes in biomedical, clinical and allied health sciences which necessitates
increasing of number of staff to perform its intended function.

In this context, MUHAS is inviting applications from candidates who are interested in various posts as described below for teaching the programmes across seven Schools and one academic Institute of the University.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a training role; successful candidates must enroll in a Master’s program and maintain a GPA of 4.0 or above.

• Attending an induction course in teaching and pedagogical skills (for those without prior training).
• Working under the guidance of senior staff by participating in lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Conducting tutorials, seminars, and practical classes.Support research, consultancy, and community outreach activities.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by the University.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants who want to apply for this job must hold a degree in one of the following with a minimum GPA of 3.8/5.0 from a recognized university:
• Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology
• Bachelor of Science in Audiology
• Applicant must hold Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

Salary Scale: You will start with a salary Scale of PUTS 1.1
